Injury at Work? – Health & Safety corner cutting?

21 Feb

Recently, as a friend of mine sadly had an accident at her place of employment, I have been looking at the subject of Personal Injury claims, particularly those for Accidents at work or Personal injury compensation.

The recession has, through many factors caused Personal Injury & compensation claims to soar.

My first thought was, it must be due to people believing this to be a way to enhance their income substantially & quickly without too much effort, but then I spoke to a few more people who have unfortunately had to claim for accidents at work & discovered that some businesses are cutting costs by re-prioritising work essentials such as Health & Safety in the workplace.

This can start off as employers not carrying out the necessary risk assessments, to them blatantly not ensuring the health, safety & well-being of staff.

This is when a competent, professional company, specialising in Personal Injury & Accidents at work can be invaluable. You need a company who will offer advice & guidance, not just tick boxes & “go for the claim”.

Injury Lawyers Direct offer advice whether the claim has merit & recovers any costs from the employer.

Now you may be wondering why I would write about this as you all know I am a true champion of UK small business…

I just think its so important that as small businesses we are aware of our duties to our staff; that we strive to keep them safe & well & reward them for their hard work, not just with money but with a stable, protected working environment … But I also believe that as Fathers, Mothers, Sons & Daughters we should all be aware of the options if the businesses we work for shirk those responsibilities.

I am happy to report that my friend who had an accident at work was treated extremely well by her employer but I am also extremely happy to say – if you need some help… Contact Injury Lawyers Direct.

I have scoured websites & have found this, smaller business, which offers a service tailored to the individual. They arrange home visits for those in need of them (unlike many of the “Big-Boys”) & they use actual qualified, experienced lawyers NOT claims advisors…

I also had a look at the other services they offer & would say that their website is worth having a look at – even as a small business owner, because it has lots of relevant information on there…

Again, like anything I write about; Please let me know if you use this service…

Thank you
